Suitables is a boutique ladies shoes, clothing and accessories shop, located in the heart of Lingfield just across from the well known local land mark the old cage.  Business owner Angela Beeson has a wealth of experience in the ladies fashion and cosmetics industry having worked for some of the major industry players such as Revlon, Lancome and Yves Saint Laurent.

Angela fell into the industry quite by accident when she met suitables previous owner Jan. Jan had the business for 9 years operating from the hut (now a barber shop across the road).  Angela had been having trouble finding good quality, comfortable and stylish shoes in a size 8.  Jan was passionate about finding the right shoes to fit all shapes and sizes and very quickly found the perfect pair for Angela, and from that point suitables became the shop of choice for Angela.

The two began to work together, Angela placed a jewellery concession within the store, a relationship that continued for a number of years until Jan decided that she wanted to retire, whereupon Angela took the leap to take over the business and move it to its current location where she has been up and running successfully since March 1998.

In that time the business has gone from strength to strength, suitables is well known as a specialist bridal shoe shop, and with one of the largest collections of bridal shoes in the South East, many brides travel some distance from across Surrey, Sussex and Kent to buy shoes for their special day from Angela.  Visitors to the shop can not only get bridal shoes but can also find high quality shoes for a variety of special occasions such as proms, gala events, balls, awards ceremonies to name a few, There are shoes for everyday wear, stylish boots for the winter, flip flops and sandals for the summer to evening and work shoes.

 
Alongside the vast shoe collection suitables offers accessories such as necklaces, earings, rings and eyewear as well as handbags.  New to the store are the ladies clothing lines with brands such as Pomodoro and Sea Salt, we have regular stock deliveries so it is always worth popping by to see the latest ranges in store.

At suitables you can be assured of a warm welcome from friendly, experienced and knowledgeable staff who are on hand to give help and advice.  Angela’s main aim is for her customers to feel wonderful in their shoes and good about themselves.
