Don’t use waterproofing treatments on patent shoes as they are already waterproof. Instead use a touch of Vaseline and a little bit of elbow grease to buff and shine them up.

If you have a broader foot or high instep choose a v shaped fronted shoe which will give you more room.

Shoe Travels

Many of our shoes have travelled to far flung destinations; for weddings, honeymoons, holidays, special events or on business. Here are just a few places suitables shoes have been visiting.  If you have a pair of suitables shoes that have a story to tell, then get in touch, send us a picture and your story and we will add you to the map. At the end of the year we will select the person whose shoes have travelled the furthest afield and they will receive a voucher to spend in store!

Swap Shoes

It is important not to wear the same shoe every day, alternate every other day with another pair to allow your shoes to settle and breathe. Use a 'shoe puff' to help maintain the shape of your shoes.

Shoe Maintenance

Always check the heels and soles of your shoes and repair them as necessary so as to ensure you will get the most wear out of them.
